Terms & Conditions – Remote Room Makeover

1. Scope of Services

Petra & Lu Studio provides digital interior styling services delivered 100% remotely under the Remote Room Makeover service.

Each purchase applies to the number of rooms selected at checkout (from one to five rooms).
Each room is defined as one individual interior space.

The service focuses exclusively on movable furniture and décor styling and does not include architectural, construction, or fixed elements.

2. Remote Room Makeover Service

Remote Room Makeover includes a personalized design proposal for each contracted room.
All recommendations are advisory in nature. Final purchasing, installation, and execution are the responsibility of the client.

Deliverables are limited strictly to what is described on the product page at the time of purchase.

3. What the service does not include

The Remote Room Makeover service does not include:

  • Custom or fixed carpentry

  • Curtains, blinds, or window treatments

  • Architectural finishes (floors, walls, bathrooms, kitchens)

  • Construction work or remodeling

  • Garden or outdoor design

  • Specialized art curation

  • On-site supervision or installation

  • Purchase management or procurement

4. Number of Rooms

Pricing, scope, and deliverables are based on the number of rooms selected at checkout.
Each room is defined as one individual interior space.

Additional rooms beyond the number purchased must be contracted separately.

5. Express Delivery Add-On

Clients may purchase an Express Delivery add-on at checkout to receive their design in a shorter timeframe than the standard delivery window.

Express Delivery applies only to the delivery timeline and does not modify the scope of work, deliverables, or service limitations.

Delivery timelines for Express orders are subject to availabilty and must be confirmed by email before purchasing..


6. 30 min call add-on

Clients may purchase an optional 30-minute call add-on, which may be scheduled either before or after the design proposal is delivered, at the client’s discretion and subject to availability.

This call is intended as a design consultation and may be used to:

  • Clarify goals or direction before the project begins

  • Review the delivered proposal

  • Resolve questions or provide guidance related to the space

The call:

  • Is limited to 30 minutes

  • Does not include revisions, redesigns, or additional deliverables

  • Does not modify the original scope of the service

Any additional work requested as a result of the call may be quoted separately.


7. Client-Provided Information

Once the purchase is completed, the client will receive an email with detailed instructions outlining all required information needed to begin the project.

This information includes, but is not limited to:

  • Photos of the space

  • Basic room measurements

  • Style references or inspiration (Pinterest board or similar)

  • Budget range for furniture and décor

  • How the space is used and by whom

  • Project goals and non-negotiables

The project timeline will begin only after all required information has been received.

Petra & Lu Studio is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or late submissions.

8. Budget

Design recommendations are developed within the budget range selected by the client. Budget ranges are estimates and do not guarantee product availability, final pricing, or stock.

9. Revisions

The Remote Room Makeover service does not include revisions.

Any changes, adjustments, or additional requests made after delivery are outside the scope of the service and may be quoted separately at Petra & Lu Studio’s discretion.

10. Delivery Timeline

Standard delivery time for Remote Room Makeover is 2 to 4 weeks, starting once all required information has been received.

Delivery time may vary based on:

  • Number of rooms purchased

  • Project complexity

  • Whether an Express Delivery add-on was selected

Delays in submitting required information may affect delivery timelines.

11. Gift Cards

Gift Cards are redeemable toward any product or service available in the Petra & Lu Studio online store, unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.

Gift Cards:

  • Have no cash value

  • Are non-refundable

  • Must be redeemed in a single transaction

  • Cannot be exchanged for cash

Any remaining balance after redemption is not transferable or refundable.

12. Communication

All communication is conducted via email. Calls or meetings are not included unless explicitly purchased as an add-on.

13. No Refunds

Due to the personalized and digital nature of the service, all sales are final. No refunds, cancellations, or chargebacks are accepted once work has started.

14. Intellectual Property

All designs and documents are for personal use only and may not be reproduced, resold, or used commercially without prior written consent.

15. Acceptance

By completing a purchase, the client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
